How to File a Claim

Logging in to your Travel Insured profile makes it quick and easy to save trips and quotes, modify your plan, file claims, and more.

To begin, log in to your account and then carry out the following steps:

  1. Select “File a Claim” in the top, right corner of the homepage, or navigate to
  2. Under “File a Claim,” select “Start a Claim”.
  3. Locate the trip associated with your claim, then select “Start New Claim”. (If you’re signed in but you have not added your trip to your Travel Insured account, you can easily do so. Try this: How to Save a Trip to Your Account).
  4. Enter your claim details and all other required information, then select “Start Claim”.

    You’ve started your claim! Please check the email associated with your Travel Insured account for further instructions and required claim forms.
